In my bathroom there is a panel for the water heater.

One screw was over tightened and it damaged the azdel.

I would like to purchase enough to make a replacement panel.

My interior is Cherry.

Is there any source for an new piece of azdel?

I would contact LivinLite, they may even send it to you for free if they're the ones that over-tightened it.

Hi!

Will send you a private message with info on how to contact our warranty department. We'll get you fixed up! :-)

Replacement panel came in.  It is NOT AZDEL, it IS plywood.

I want to go on a tirade, but I will hold off; but say this.

If I wanted a plywood camper, I would not have purchased a CAMP LITE.  Grumble, complain, throw something, kick the big rock outside then come back in and pour myself a Bourbon and put my foot on ice.

I need a replacement AZDEL panel, not a piece of plywood, and I wonder where I can go to get one.  Anyone have nay leads?

They sent you a freakin piece of plywood?!?  You gotta be kidding me!

All kidding aside.  I asked for AZDEl and they never said a word, just asked what size and now it arrives and it is plywood.

I do not really have much choice except to water proof the heck out of it.  Fiberglass resin will do the trick but man AZDEL would just have been way easier.

They really should let you know these things ahead of time especially since I asked for AZDEL replacement.  Not like they had no idea what I needed.

SIGH... the fat lady has sung.

It's getting harder, but let's give them one more try. Call Don and/or Jack in Parts and ask again. Maybe the new KZ factory guys never heard of Azdel. They must still have some in the factory. The fat lady may not have sung yet, but she sure is warming up!

If I could buy a half sheet of AZDEL with the correct finish on it I would.  I could keep it and use as necessary or never.

I traded e-mails, so there was no mistaking what I wanted.  I cannot reach anyone in parts at Livin Lite despite quite a few phone calls.  To top all this frustration off, My Mini Cooper spontaneously caught fire Thursday evening.  So a glorious end to a terrific week.

So for me the lady has finished singing.  But I will see what they say if I ever get a hold of them on the phone.

Sorry to hear about the Mini Cooper. Bummer. And I suspect LL has their phone system on permanent hold with all the calls they must be getting. I've never had much luck getting calls returned from such places. Perhaps someone can pop in with Don or Jack's direct number or extension.

Try these guys, I think they make the Adzel product.

It also appears Coachman RV sells adzel replacement panels.

Unfortunately RobertWeedPlywood has a minimum order of 250 sheets!  >:D . Try RV shops such as Camping World etc. Lots of campers are now using Azdel so someone may have some small pieces around.
Sent a PM with Don's email (LivinLite Service) to you. When we purchased our Mighty 11, Don sent a few warranty items, no questions asked.

Hey tincan!  I believe I can help you.  I just spoke with Don and it does not ring a bell with him. Don is a super guy and I am thinking the request probably never got to him. He would never have sent a piece of plywood or luan. We still use Azdel throughout our product lines but the Dark Cherry is no longer used in production.  We keep some around for just this reason.  I grabbed a piece and have it in my office. What size do you need?  Post it here and send and email to service@livinlite.com. and reference my name if needed.  I will tell Don to look for your email and if you let me know on the forum here I will follow up on this end.

I apologize for all the confusion,

Happy Camping
