Is there any way to link a slideshow from Photobucket to the forum?

I'm having issue (after update) with Firefox hanging and nearly every session. I hate Safari :-(
Dave,

You can create a photobucket album for the gathering and post the album link.

Really enjoyed the photos/narratives. Looked like good food. What was the issue with the water that Leslie referred to?

leslie

The issue was no water, low water pressure. I arrived Thursday evening and had no problems till Friday night. Saturday morning the water was just a trickle and then it stopped. Some water pressure at noon but by night it stopped again. This wasn't just me, but all of the LL group on the top of the hill. Shovelhead was down the hill. I didn't hear him discussing water problems. Don't know about that. We enjoyed camping there and telling stories - the water was just - oh well.

shovelhead got some pictures of the pitch-in meal. We didn't think to pose for a group picture. We were too busy talking! Ever try to herd cats?

Wow, that seemed to be a nice weekend! Thank you for the report, I hope I can participate to the next gathering! Would be nice to do one in Maine or maybe any of the New England state could be doable too for me. I wonder if I plan one in New Brunswick Canada if someone would come?

After we travel to the Canadian Rockies during 2015, will try to make it to New Brunswick Canada, but may not be until 2016. So many places to visit & camp!

Cesar, The Dod Whisperer, makes it very clear...

...dogs must have rules, boundaries and limitations.

Certainly one of those is to NEVER get on picnic tables.

Here is the album of pics so far (these are considered public photos, but they will not show up in online searches. Only those with the link should be able to see these):

This group quickly felt like meeting up with old friends. I'd be happy to share a campground with anyone/everyone anytime, and if anyone is passing through central NC and wants to drop in we always happy to have friends over.

The water issues and the lower than normal temps are the only two things I can say were possible negatives, but even those were not major issues. I wish we had stayed longer because it was on the outer edge of what I would consider a long weekend trip for us. With good time on the roads, we were able to have an average travel time of about 4.5 hours. Even with the distance this location is on our list for a repeat trip. There was so much offered in the area that I cant wait to go back.

A few nerd facts:
Average hwy speed 65-70 mph
Average mpg 17.75
Total mileage ~550
Tow Vehicle: '14 Honda Pilot 4wd
