Our situation is regrettable but we all owe a debt to Scott Tuttle and @admin . What a dynamite pair. One chose to leave and one got overruled but both added to our camping life. Thank you Scott and Sean.

I want to thank the fellows who have kept this board going, especially Sean, Tinkering Techie, and djsamuels. Goodbye, good luck, and hope to see you on another board.

I too will miss this board and all who participated.
Scott Tuttle was a huge factor in our purchase and answered many questions before and after our decision to buy.
We feel like we bought the best travel trailer made, noting that no product is without flaws.
We will be easy to spot as our brand is unique in the industry.

Happy camping to all of you.

First off thank you Sean and everyone else who helped run this site. I have spent more time lurking than actually posting but I have really enjoyed the site and watching everyone interacting. We are fortunate in that we have a pre Thor camper and have become frustrated with the changes that have been made with the new campers. We had even decided that when we either added or replaced our current QS 10 that we want a 14 Camplite. But that decision is changing unless we find an earlier version when that time comes.
I still feel that we have the greatest camper due to the size and simplicity but I am having a hard time recommending newer ones to people that we meet. I also think Thor is missing out on the biggest selling point being the simplicity. But I am preaching to the choir here at this point.
I will head to the other forum board and keep up with everyone there. I would like to wish everyone numerous safe and happy trips in the future. I will still stop and talk to every LL owner we run into.
Safe travels everyone and thanks again to everyone.

Sean and the mods kept 1347 members and over 26,000 posts from going astray; no easy task in this Internet age! It was an ACTIVE forum, with 76 members having over 50 posts and many, many other members with multiple posts. I really encourage all to join the aluminumcamperforum.com and continue the discussions, ideas, rants, and humor that characterize forums. I wish Paul well in administering that one!

Is it time to start this again . . .  Last?

I wouldn't have a camper without this forum. Thanks Sean and everyone who was so helpful and patient.

Just went over to the other place and registered, albeit with a heavy heart...

Glad we will at least have a place to continue.

As others have said, I also think that Thor have completely missed the point with these RVs and I am certain that my wife would have never agreed to our getting what they have now become.  It was what LL originally offered that appealed to her.  When we decided to get a travel trailer, I spent many, many, many hours researching the market for a new one and there were only two that met her criteria, the LL we bought or an Airstream.  She made the decision and I must say that we were very fortunate to get ours when we did, before the sale to Thor.  As we had ordered ours, rather than taking something on the lot, I was even in contact with the factory and they also sent a few photos of ours as it was being built.  I should think that sort of thing is now an impossibility.

It's really too bad that so often companies in this industry fail to see the bigger picture.
Well, went over and registered and then posted in the introduction area and then something happened and I cannot get back to their website.

Only get this, no matter what or when tried:

"Network Error (tcp_error)

A communication error occurred:

The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

For assistance, contact your network support team."

I think I broke their forum !    ???

I will definitely join the other forum. You guys have been beyond helpful for a newbie like me. I would have never made the jump from not owning a camping ever to buying a big ole 21BHS without all your advice. I truly appreciate it.

LivinLite is selling out to the masses because a picky buyer like me would have never bought a run of the mill junky camper.
