Hi everyone, we just purchased a 16dbs yesterday and are excited for a trial run soon. We look forward to sharing our experiences with the group.
Thanks

Welcome!

And I have to say, your local state park is OUTSTANDING.

Welcome to the forum. Look forward to all your pending adventures. We loved our 16 but outgrew it and moved to a 21 BHS.

Maiden voyage was approximately a one hour drive away. Initial experience positive. Flickering led in bathroom which I understand is the result of aluminum shavings in the light fixtures. We also have a small section of trim missing above the kitchen sink. We were very impressed how well the unit towed. Otherwise just a sticky on off switch on the furnace that required a slight adjustment. Hoping to plan another outing soon. We really enjoyed the experience overall and we are looking forward to the next. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day!

Good report. Sounds like some simple fixes from your shakedown cruise and you're on the way to being a veteran Campliter (if there is such a thing!). We sure enjoyed our trip across Wisconsin last summer.

Welcome! We were just visiting the Chippewa Flowage and on a tour of Wisconsin. Very nice area! We were born and raised in Wisconsin and miss the area.

I just grabbed a Quicksilver 8.5x26 from Prestige over there in Chippewa Falls. Had it brought all the way to Spokane WA!

Great looking TV and trailer.
Just noticed one thing, is the trailer high on the tongue end?
If it is you should use a hitch with a little more drop to keep the trailer as level as possible when towing.
This will evenly distribute the weight to both axles.
Camp on!
