Getting ready to go on our first trip with the new 21rbs and we're plugged into my 30 amp garage Outlet tonight before we leave tomorrow. When I try to put the refrigerator in AC mode it won't stay there in the two green lights blink back and forth. I have the LP gas turned off so in my past experience it should work fine on auto. Any thoughts?

Has it ever worked correctly, or is this the first time you've tried it?

First check the AC circuit breaker for the fridge in the fuse panel. If that's ok and the camper is getting AC power (do that check by trying the microwave), I would next try to get the fridge to run on LP by turning off the AC power and opening the LP tank valve.

If the fridge is getting AC power, runs fine on LP, but doesn't switch to AC power in AUTO, there may be something wrong.

One possibility is the fridge was never plugged in. In the compartment accessible from the outside, there is an AC outlet and plug for the fridge. Open up the compartment and make sure that plug is securely plugged in. It is a duplex outlet, so you could also plug in a lamp to make sure that outlet is getting power.

Check on this stuff so far and post back.

[p]First time to try it.  I flipped the breaker, still no luck with AC.  I turned on the gas and sounded like the gas ignited and now the upper freezer compartment seems like it is cooling but the main refridgerator compartment below has not started to cool.  maybe it just takes 6 or 7 hours to get cool once it starts? Not sure why AC mode doesn't work but tomorrow will check the compartment to see if plugged in (light comes on inside refridgerator when door opens but maybe that runs off DC??).[/p][p]

Yes, it takes several hous to cool. I run ours overnight before a trip. The inside light is probably DC. I hope the fridge is simply unplugged. The troubleshooting guide in the operation manual is pretty limited.

Check the lower access compartment on the outside. There's a plug on the left side. Unplug the fridge and check that the outlet there has power. If it has power and the fridge is plugged into it then you've got a problem with the fridge. If the outlet doesn't have power then you'll need to troubleshoot the breakers/wiring to see why.

This morning I removed the outside panel and look and behold the air conditioner was not plugged in. Works perfectly now! Thanks!!!
