I have a QS 6.0 and purchased the Popup Gizmo for it. I do not like the bungee cords that came with it. Do any of you have any better methods to deploy and attach it? I have the high wind version and most of the time I have to attach it by myself. Thanks in advance. TRW

We have a QS10 with the high wind gizmos and we ended up just attaching some small D-rings along the bottom of the sides of the camper. It took about 30 minutes on a nice sunny day to put them on. I'll try and get some pictures of it this week.

I used some automotive zip ties on the frame under the camper. You can't see them unless you bend down and look under the camper.

I'm camping this morning and saw your post. Here is a quick video how I attach mine.

Riotanga I got a couple photos the other weekend but I am having some trouble posting them here. I will try and get them posted soon.

Kybrowns, thanks for the video.
The zip ties stay on the trailer, and are those black things on the end what attaches the gizmo to the zip tie?
Does the gizmo stay on even when you close the camper?

I haven't bought one yet and am considering it.

The zip ties stay on the trailer.

The black things are zip ties.

I take the gizmo off before folding the trailer.

It helps the AC cool during the day.  If I'm  parked in a shaded spot with the gizmo my camper will stay cool inside.  If I'm in direct sun it still will help but it will be warm in the camper.

TRW[/quote]Do you have the measurements for the Gizmo for the 6.0?  Interested in getting one for mine as well.

The company name is popupgizmos. Their web address is below. They are very easy to work with.

I do know that the measurements aren't necessary. The company has the measurements already for Quicksilver trailers even though the website doesn't say that they do. I emailed and got a prompt reply. That was a relief.

How did you attach those D rings? And thanks for the video!

Do the straps and clips come already attached to the gizmos when you buy them? Anyone care to divulge a rough estimate of what their gizmos cost? I've got an 8.0 and a ballpark figure would be appreciated.

I ordered a Gizmo for our 8.0 last week and it was $199. plus shipping.  I was told the bungees and clips come separately to prevent tangling since there are something like 22 of them.
