Recommended sealant for Wheel Well Gap/Leak?

All:

On our 16TBS we have a leak at the leading edge of one wheel well - when driving through rain we end up with dirty water around that inside front edge of the wheel well cover.  I was wondering if anyone has had to seal the underside of their camplite and what a good long lasting, strong bond sealant would be?

Thanks for suggestions

I'm about to remove the wheels and do this too. I hope someone chimes in with what will work best. It's a tough environment in there. Duct tape won't work  (rofl)

Why over complicate it...something simple like silicone should do the job while still staying flexible enough to deal with vibration and temp changes. Just make sure any grime or grease is removed before applying it. Maybe it's just me but it sounds like a $10 dollar fix.

Has anyone ever used Flexseal (as seen on TV)?  It seems like that stuff would be prefect for this (and other)application.

Thanks!  I've got a can of that still around from when I put my seelevel monitor boards on - that's just the thing I was looking for.

I used the Geocell sealant in my wheel wells. Worked great. Available at Camping World and I'm sure online.

The gaps in the wheel well trim were too large for spray undercoat, even though I had that. I cleaned everything up with soap and water and then wiped all the joints with alcohol. After it all dried, I used an entire tube of "lifetime" silicone caulk in each wheel well. I doubt it will last a lifetime in there, but I'm fairly certain the wheel wells will be adequately sealed for a long time. I have the wheels off anyway to install new radial tires and check the wheel bearings and brakes.
