Well its 27F today here. The weather channel says 'the polar vortex' is on the move and by April 1st it may bring record breaking cold South. If you live in the midwest don't put away the snuggie yet!

we just got hit with close to 2' a few days ago and another couple inches this morning.  heading back into the 50s though so hopefully we are done for the winter/spring...i still have a couple mods to do to the vrv!

Made it to Death Valley and weathers been in the high 70s to low 80s other than the big wind storm that hit here yesterday it's been a great camping trip. Talked to some folks back in Reno and they got 8-12" of snow yesterday  :D  Guess you could say we were lucky. Will post some pictures under trips once I get through the hundreds of pictures.

Back to winter for us! This year in Michigan April is earning its reputation as the cruelest month. It's been a cold/rainy/icy/snowy month so far. This morning's several inches of new snow and the 19F temps this weekend have ended hopes of further outside work on mods anytime soon and of camping anytime this month. (I'm still not up for towing on snow/ice.) We're canceling the state park reservations we made for this month and are going back into hibernation mode for a while. Maybe next month........

We got snow here outside of Cleveland last night as well, and our camper also looked like that this morning. That's why we're leaving for KY late next week for some camping around Lexington and Bardstown. Temps are supposed to be in the 60's when we arrive and then get up into the 70's while we're there. Not a bad temperature gain for just a 6 hour drive! And they've got some great Bourbon down there as well!!
