Range Hoods

We cook a lot in the camper. Even with the roof exhaust fan running full steam, and the window open,  it can get messy in there. I only would install a through the wall hood fan, if I can find a decent one. I was in an Airstream this past February, and saw that they install a unit made by baraldi. I just got done with a search and wasn't surprised that they sell for over $300 !!. Has anyone installed a through the wall range hood, and could you tell me the brand/model number you used?

I am convinced that this will eventually be done in our rig. Gotta have something to play with, after all.

Man, you must cook a lot inside using the stove! We were camping recently in TN and the humidity inside was 30% and each time I touched something I got shocked. My bride said she would boil some water on the stove, in ten minutes the humidity was up to 65% as she had two pans of water going on the stove. So yea if you are cooking much using your stove  a hood would be needed! I have to believe this is rare as your bride must be a little different in that she cooks using the stove! My bride is the Microwave Queen!

My wife is a fabulous cook. It got a little testy this past summer whenever we wanted to boil our lobsters while in Maine. Got to the point that we started having them cooked where we bought 'em. Microwaves are for REHEATING  stuff.!!  What can I say....I'm a VERY lucky guy.

No experience with installing a range hood in a trailer, but that is something I will want to have in any rv we end up with.  This one looks promising:
