Very nice blog! And I like hearing from Kris about your exploits and adventures!
Located in Kentucky and Florida at present

Thanks for the link to the blog. Really liked reading it and look forward to seeing the photos and videos in the future. We are looking at taking our grandkids for a weekend this summer along with a new dog so it should be interesting to say the least.

Hi Sean - Congrats to you and Kris with the new blog. I'm sure you'll have fun with it and it is great that it's something you can grow together.

I started one myself for my adventures with the small but mighty Camplite 11FDB. You can find it at >>[a href="http://www.designstop.com"]www.designstop.com[/a]<<. Unfortunately I got really busy at work and have let it slip with no new postings for way too long. I still have lots of ideas and trust I will get back to it someday. (Its never too late & the Camplight hasn't aged a bit).

I'm proud to say our first video is live as of this morning! We wanted to give a little intro about us and our setup. There is plenty of room to improve but at least its a good start :)
The video can be seen here [a href="https://youtu.be/eA5JJHVC3OQ"]Getting to know us and Toothless, our Quicksilver 10.0[/a]

Nice video Sean! Look forward to seeing the modifications that you've done to yours. Really like the countertop but not sure if we'll do that to ours even though the sink is used mainly as a change and miscellaneous holder while camping. You guys did a good job explaining the camper answering all the questions that we usually get such as "Where is the roof?".

awesome! loved it. I just got the Magma cookware and I saw your percolator coffee maker. lots of good ideas

are those bar codes or labels for the bench storage?

Thank. Those are bar codes and labels for storage :) I use an inventory app that let's me track what I have in the camper and how much is left if it's a consumable. I plan to do a write up of the system.

Thanks. This was the first time either of us really did much of anything on camera so it was a huge learning experience. There is so much we could have talked about but as it was we were getting a bit long with the video time. We definitely have a lot of ideas for up coming videos.

Wife and I enjoyed the video. We giggled when your wifey stated she handles the inside while you take care of outside jobs. We do the same thing. The inside job takes some great Tetris skills.

You have inspired me to make my own video sometime. We do things a little different with basically the same camper. It would be neat to show the different styles of camping.  For example, we can't go without the sink, a porta potty, and we never take the bench seats and table. One more thing we keep a curtain attached to rear Bimini bar for privacy reasons. We camp with three adults and two kids.

I am going to leave the on camera stuff to you Sean as I despise talking on camera and will go so far out of make way at work to avoid the cameras that it's not even funny most days. But I may give it a try for the benefit of other campers. My wife and I kinda do things the same way you and your wife set up and tear down with our setups being right along the same times as yours.

This year may end up being a little different for us since we now have a dog that we intend on taking with us. So we may be looking at taking the benches out so we could have room for a kennel for the dog. Since it's just the two of us I'm sure that the dog will try to sleep on one of the bunk ends. So if we need to use the kennel we will need to find different storage solutions for the gear we keep in the benches.

When we get our camper out in a few weeks we will see about getting at least some photos of our set up.

If we want to post a video do we post a link here and then you upload it to the channel?

admin

The video channel is setup to be mainly just myself/family. I would however love to have a network of people participating in making videos but it would need to be uploaded to your own YouTube account. I think you could then tag or link the video as being related to LivingTheLiteLife which would allow for even more interaction. I'm happy to brainstorm some ideas if you want to PM me :)
