Tire Monitoring System on Single Axle Camplite

Wonder if anyone has experience with these?  Thinking about buying one of the motorcycle Tire Monitoring Systems for my 13BHB off Amazon which are over $100 less than the RV Tire Monitoring Systems and don't require a 12V plugin.  Asked the question on Amazon and someone worried that the range might not work, plus it seems like you need to have metal valve stems for the externally mounted systems.
