Hello from off the coast of Nova Scotia, where I am currently working, but my home is in Metter, Ga and my camp is in Tellico Plains Tn.  I am retired from the USCG and now work for Norwegian Cruise Lines.  After a few years of looking at Camp lites and wanting one, I happened to find a new 2013 model a few months ago and snagged it up.  I really liked the older models too because of the window unit AC rather than the roof AC.  The wife and I have taken our camper to 2 states so far and even when we were home last summer we frequently slept in the camper at the house just to learn all the goods and bads of it.  I am looking forward to more camp lite fun in the future when I am at home and thank you for setting up this forum.

Your travel trailer experience is identical to mine. Found a new old stock 2013 16DB in Feb of 2015 for a song. I too like the window AC a lot. It is quiet, easy to replace and easy to run.

We bought around the same time. By chance did you find yours at TC's RV's in Vermont? They had two on blowout special and one sold the day before we got ours.

Whoofit,
I bought mine in SC at that big dealer on I-95(Boat-n-RV I think its called). I had visited the dealership on several other occasions and not seen this unit, before.  The dealer said that it was at one of their locations in PA and that location had closed a few years ago.  According to him, (who knows) he said that recently company officials went to the old dealership and found 3 "new" old trailers in the warehouse, along with a bunch of other old "new" stock.  In a way, I believe him because the unit was spotless, and has obviously been somewhere in a shelter since it was new, and as I said, I know it was not at this dealership before.

Because people are generally curious, I will tell you that I offered then like 13K for it, which they refused, but we settled on 15 something, after tax and all, it was 16.200 otd.  Given how much I had looked at Livinlites, and knowing that the new units had roof AC units, this was the time for me to jump on it, so I am happy with the price, even if others may think it was high.  But I see used units with asking prices for higher, (who knows what they actually sell for)

That is a great deal. ~$600 less than I paid all-in.

You guys hang on to those! I paid 21,500 for our 2013 16DB (custom with XL package) in September 2012 and sold it this past March for 21,500.
