Questions for our Washington neighbors, if you were going to spend 5-6 days in/around Olympic state park, wanted full hook-ups and generally easy access to Seattle for a day, where would you stay? Planning a trip up there next summer and having a heck of a time deciding where to stay.

I hope you're talking about the national park... I don't think there's a state park. There's only one place I know of inside the park that has full hookups and that's the "log cabin resort". There are a bunch of awesome state parks nearby that would be between Seattle and Olympic NP, but I think most of them don't have full hookups (or just water/electric). How determined are you to have full hookups?

Full hookups available here:

Very nice campground on a very nice lake with great views of the Olympic Mountains. The location might not be that great for you though depending on what you're planning to see in the area.

Then there is this state park campground near Sequim, closer to the National Park, farther from Seattle:

Has full hookups. I can't really say what is like now, but it was great last time we stayed there.
