Canadian's love Maker Mark but I Love Crown Royal and they do have better beer then us. I can attest to that with the 20 plus trips I have made to Toronto over the past 10 years. Actually flying there this Sunday on a business trip so I'll do some verification just to make sure  (rofl).

 I'll bring my bike for the ice runs and a few assorted 1.75s to help melt it. Pinstriper I'll remember your JimmyB and Leslie you can skip the shine. Not sure the crowd (or me) can handle it.

With all this talk about booze I can't wait until we start talking about what we are going to eat. That should be a riot.

I tried something new tonight. Makers 46. I got it free with a purchase of Makers Mark. I loved it; hubby did not. I will have to bring some of that as well.

In line with your last comment, we should have a pitch-in meal. That also means we need a place (shelter?) large enough for all of us. What is the current head count?

I think. [/quote]What I SAID was I'm on the Atkins Diet, which, as far as Mrs. P knows, based on what I've told her, involves gorging myself on meat, eggs, reese's peanut butter cups, and cheese, and washing it down with distilled spirits.

Christian, it's been about a month so how about an update on participation? I know we have several interested on the Facebook page and some on the Yahoo forum.

As of my count this morning- we have 26 people registered (13 rigs, one gentleman staying outside the campground) and an additional 4-6 children. I have one who has reserved a spot but has not turned in the registration form, so waiting to hear back. 


So, we're looking at close to 30 folks...and  we haven't even seen the new year yet! 

I'm thinking after the first of the year I will do another social media blast reminding folks and encouraging them to sign up. But either way, I'm pretty impressed with the numbers so far!

It's gonna be a ball!
