Others have posted modification lists that I have found very useful for ideas. In that same spirit, here's what my wife and I have done on the outside to our CL in the first year of ownership. I will separately post the mods we did to the inside and annotated both lists with some subjective comments. Most of these mods and equipment are pretty basic stuff that many others have done. Some really should be standard OEM. Brand names are not an endorsement, just noted so that others can look things up if interested.

1.   Patty O'Room screen room for awning
Excellent addition, but very heavy and requires lots of hook and loop fasteners on the trailer
2.   Maxxair II vent covers on both roof vents
Important addition for ventilation in the rain
3.   Lund 4' aluminum truck box mounted behind propane tanks
Nice looking (and locking) addition to hold the batteries and shorepower cord storage
4.   Duracell AGM 12V Group 31 100 Ah batteries (2) in parallel in tongue box
Plenty of battery power
5.   MRCB 80 amp circuit breaker w/on-off switch for batteries
Good safety feature and easy on-off for DC power
6.   Camco 25' 30A extension cord (with OEM 35', have a total of 60')
Used it 3 times already
7.   Camco insect screens on all water heater, furnace and refrigerator vents
Critical addition where we live. The wasps move in right away
8.   Camco level indicators on bumper and tongue
Cheap convenience
9.   Camco carpet on step
Perfect for the dogs
10.   Stromberg-Carlson folding 8 inch auxiliary step, with Camco carpet
Great for the dogs and for us. Two steps instead of one big one into the trailer
11.   Camco woven outdoor patio mat (bungeed on rear bumper when stowed)
Keeps the mess outside and it's 9X12 for lots of space under the awning or in the Patty O'Room
12.   Gander Mountain outdoor folding chairs and outdoor folding aluminum table
Very comfortable chairs (with full padding) and very convenient table
13.   Bulldog jack foot on power tongue jack
More stable than the wheel supplied
14.   D&W Supertube sewer hose holder under rear bumper
Allowed removal of the silly-small OEM holder and holds the Rhinoflex  15 foot sewer tube.
15.    Rhinoflex 15 foot sewer tube and clear fittings.
Easy to use for an otherwise messy job
16.   Sewer hose parts storage box on rear bumper
They have to go somewhere and the pass-through is not an option
17.   Spare tire re-installed valve stem down
Duh
18.   D&W outdoor shower hose rack on rear bumper
Nice convenience addition for outside hose
19.   Camco 50' and 25' drinking water hoses
It's a long way to the outside faucet in my driveway
20.   Camco in-line water filter
All water going into the trailer is filtered
21.   Camco water connector adapters (various and many, plus Water Bandit)
Allows connection to anything
22.   Closed cell foam padding between fresh water tank and axle
Fresh tank is riding on the axle when full and could have eventually worn through
23.   SeeLevel tank monitors for all 3 tanks
Replaces the silly, useless OEM tank monitors
24.   Andersen levelers
Easy to use and gets the job done with no drama
25.   Camco wheel chocks
Bright yellow so hard to forget when pulling out
26.   Andersen weight distribution hitch
Takes out bounce and sway very well and easy to use
27.   Highland mud flaps behind right and left rear tires
Makes a big difference in keeping the tank drain area and step area clean when on dirt roads

A couple more outside additions, while waiting around for the weather to warm up so i can do real stuff outside........

I found a lot of rust and corrosion inside the power jack head from rain/snow, so i bought this Husky cover from eTrailer. I hope condensation isn't to bad under it. It does protect the head from rain/snow.

I also added a Stromberg Carlson hand-hold to the door frame. I fell out of the camper last summer while stepping out and not holding on, at least in part because the little factory OEM handle is a bit awkward to grab if I'm carrying something in one hand. This new handle is perfect and as a bonus folds flat either way, including over the door as an extra "lock" while on the road.
