Calling all Livin Lite owners!

How would you like the opportunity to meet other Livin Lite owners from all over the country (and Canada)? How would you like an entire weekend to listen to RV experts and vendors talk about YOUR Livin Lite camper? What if the words "free food and Livin Lite gear" were involved?


Well, buckle up, happy campers...because we are currently taking suggestions for the very first Livin Lite National Rally, held near our factory in Indiana, Summer 2016.

What we need from you is to tell us a) if you would be interested in travelling to our national Rally and b) WHAT would YOU like to see happen at this Rally?


We are excited to be considering this phenomenal gathering, and are even more excited to hear your feedback.

Great idea- I'll chime in on some thoughts

Having a factory tour would be great to see how our campers are assembled.  It would be good for those working in the factory to be involved as well so they can meet the people enjoying the "fruits" of their labor.  

Possible demonstrations could include the following: properly setting up and folding the camper (I'm think of QS models here), how to handle routine maintenance, best way to clean the canvas, best products to wash the exteriors, dealing with those snaps and zippers.

Announce the date way in advance so people can plan ahead.  I live in Chattanooga, TN but would be interested in coming- you did say free food, right?  :-)

Have new models on display for those who are considering moving up to a larger/different model.

Everyone loves door prizes and drawings!

Have some mechanism in place to gather input/feedback/suggestions from LL owners.

Yes, very interested!  Would love to see all the great mods to the campers in person!

Sounds like a great idea.  Factory tour with Q&A session, demo units of current models and perhaps some factory and/or owner-led tech/DIY sessions would be worth considering.

I agree with the suggestions above.  In addition, you may want to look at the T@b factory rallies known as Tearstock.  I know someone who goes to them and the factory will repair and/or mod the T@b campers with no labor cost.  The web site is http://www.golittleguy.com/tearstock-2015 and even includes the tab for requesting service work during the rally.  Their itinerary may give you some ideas, and can be found at http://www.golittleguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Rolling-Home-2015-Flyer.pdf .  Some of their ideas look pretty good, but I would add the Q&A session, factory talks on future products, exhibits from various vendors, etc.

I've already expressed my interest over on the old Yahoo site, but I'll say it here, too. It depends on what we decide to do next season, but if we can possibly make it we will!

I like the idea also, however is there reason why you could not move the meet into fall season. This is prime camping weather. I like to take my 10.0 somewhere where the weather is nice. It doesn't work so well in hot places.  I'm thinking Indiana in fall would be much more enjoyable than the middle of the summer. In the summer I go way north or go to the mountains to escape the heat. Maybe there is a place in northern Indiana I don't know about to escape the heat.

We are definitely interested in going to a rally to be held at or by Livin Lite. We already have plans for summer 2016, but if we can possibly make it, we will. I hope to be able to meet more Livin Lite owners, and I hope you will be able to include owners who do not come to this board.

[/quote]I grew up there and still have family in Northern Indiana. There's no place to escape the heat and humidity in the summer except in a pool or lake and that ain't camping. Not that I would drive 2000 miles in the fall either but you are right fall would be more enjoyable.
