Hi Folks - What is the weight limit on the tip out bunk (specifically interested in the 11FK model)?

I read one thread that indicated it was only 150lbs.  Is that correct?

Thanks!

Tim

I looked at several different tip-out bunks for Camplites. My dealer told me that they would hold 1,000 lbs.

I believe the weight limit for the individual bunk beds in the 21-BHS and other models with bunk beds is 150 lbs.

I am not sure of the weight limit of the bunkbeds in the 21BHS but Surely it must be higher then 150 lbs. I've been in our lower bunk and at 235 lbs it didn't budge, flex or move. Sure would be worth knowing what LL says it is. I'll message Shawn and see what they say. Let you all know.

Should state the weight limit under your bed mattress, that is where mine is for my fold-out tent bed with my BC 16FK, mine has a rating of 1,100 pounds and that is amazing!

Thanks folks - I'll be looking at an 11FK at a dealership this weekend and will check under the mattress for a number.  I also have a call into the salesperson.  I'll report back what I find.

Just heard back from the dealer.  They indicated that the tip out bunk weight limit on the CL11FK is 500lbs.

I think the hardware is the same for all of the tip-out bunks offered by LL. Considering how light the 11FK is, if you put 1,000 lbs into the tip-out, you might tip the whole thing over ?

It would be pretty scary if a couple of heavy people climbed in the bunk and the entire trailer tipped. (11FK owners -- don't forget to deploy your rear stabilizers!)

LL looks to be using the same grade steel cable as you see used on full size pickup tailgates. These tailgates can handle the extreme weight of driving up on them with use of loading ramps and never breaking the cables.
I'm sure the size of the LL trailer dictates the weight limit for the foldout beds but I bet they all use the same steel cables.

This design sure makes for a superfast setup for camping and easy to fold up.

My 2014 11Footer with tip-out says load limit is 1100 lbs.

Picked up the camper this weekend from the dealer.  I checked the sticker on the tip-out bunk.    The sticker indicated the weight limit is 1,100 lbs, as several others here have noted.

I'm thinking of purchasing an 11FK but can't find the measurements of the tip out bed. A dealer indicated over the phone that he thought it was a queen size but it sure doesn't look it from the picks I've seen? Can two adults sleep in it comfortably?

Hello,my wife and I sleep very comfy in our tip out.We have camped for up to eight nights and and slept very well...........................

Hey tco2612,
I'm 6' 220, the wife is 5-8" 140. Do you think we would fit comfortably in the tip out?
