Amicalola Falls GA Still going through learning curve

My wife and I had a very good three day two night stay at Amicalola State Park in north GA. Some things learned after having been out on five separate trips:

1. It was very hot and humid, used the AC some early evening but did not want to run in after 10 due to noise. On the second night my oldest son, wife, and three boys aged 6,4, and 3 spent one night with us. Needless to say it got warm and we turned on the AC at midnight for a few minutes. My bride insisted we leave the fan on and I had to agree thinking we may be disturbing folks in tents all around us. The next morning I could hear the fan running but when I went outside it was barely noticeable. We will be running the fan without AC a lot more.

2. We agree with others about the poor quality of the TV in our 21 BHS especially the audio. But since it is used on a limited basis we are adapting. I did read on this forum about some of you connecting TV audio to trailer speakers; so we spent 10 minutes pushing buttons trying to make this happen with our 2015 trailer. A cord  was hooked up to Audio out so we figured the stereo system should already set up to pay the TV speakers on the larger trailer speakers. No luck as we hit Aux 1 etc numerous times. The next day my son who is talented in this area took a quick look for us. He quickly said it seemed to already be set up; went to the stereo system on the wall and hit Aux 1 IN and the TV sound started playing via the trailer speakers! What a difference in audio; so set it to AUX 1 In!

3. Leaving the camp-site where they provide electric and water only, we needed to dump our black and grey tanks at the exit of the camping area. There were numerous trailers in the park and I indicated to my wife it may take a while as a lot of folks were leaving Sunday morning. We took one more look at the falls and noticed a guy there hooking up his trailer.  I said hello as we passed and he indicated to me the dump station was high compared to the driveway and that made the dumping process more difficult. It was our turn about an hour later and when I pulled up to the dump station I noticed a sewer gravity flow slinky sitting on the concrete; someone was trying to use it to make the transition from the trailer to the dump drain pipe. This guy or someone behind him forgot it I am sure due to being distracted or got into a hurry. Looked like a pretty new device, I guess someone got a nice accessory before the day was over. Moral stay focused on the process and do not get in a hurry!
