Hi everyone you have been a lot of help in all my choices so far, thank you!
I picked up my axxess 8.5x22 from Ogden Ut. on Tuesday and drove it home with no towing experience and had bad head winds and cross winds. Yes it was a white knuckle day. The Saturday before I bought a 2008 dodge diesel 2500 4x4 after the 2006 one I was going to buy had a trany freeze on way back from the shop. The owner called and said to look for something else. So I did and found one with a 6 speed manual trans. I got about 19 mpg at 75 to 80 light going to Ogden Ut. and 11.3 coming back with head winds ect. doing 55 to 70 miles per hour. The 70 was latter in middle of Nevada after I had got past reason and fear. At California border I went 55 all the way home not fun. Now am looking at learning about what you have been talking about here and trying to figure out what to do next. All your topics have been a lot of help so far, thank all of you for all the help.

Sounds like the trip home was a bit of an 'adventure'.

Personally, I'd love to be able to tow with a manual transmission truck - I miss my '01 Chevy 5spd manual.

Its good you made it home safe and sound after the windy drive back, I know the exact driving experience with my recent bought BC16.
Congrats on your Axxess, I'm sure you will enjoy it and welcome to this excellent LL Forum.
(I don't miss the Manual transmissions)
