Got it for $75 at walmart.

It has worked very well. Way better than every tarp solution I experimented with.

HOWEVER, get some gorilla tape or similar and stick it over every sharp corner/edge you find on your camper first.

Mike, the reason for moving the tank externally - convenience. I will use the same tank but setting it up under the sink is a major inconvenience even more so if the camper is all set and you run out of water.

It really make the faucet useful and practical. I never used the city water ever, so I actually disabled this completely.

It is not needed, but it should make the pump work less.

I am going to "steal" Sean's idea and redo the system so that the water tank will stay outside. It is just much more convenient this way.

The only real problem with this system is the horrible push faucet. There is no way to adjust the water stream, it is binary and too strong. There is one member here that posted a very nice faucet he got from home depot but it does not seem to be sold anymore.

Sean's system with outside shower is very nice but I do not believe I would use it often. I just want to use the inside sink and faucet to do some simple dishes, wash hands etc. I found it VERY useful for this. The original hand pump was useless indeed.

I installed electric pump in my 2008 QS8 and this works very well except I do not like the factory push-type faucet (that never worked well as a pump anyway). 

Has anyone found good replacement for the faucet? Preferably one that would at least cover the hole in the sink left after I remove the original faucet.

How is this working out so far? How much load you think it can safely take

Well, I can add - soon after posting this question last year i purchased Camco UltraGuard for my camper. The cover certainly exceeded my expectations in every measure.

I considered building a carport for my 8.0 but I dont really need another structure in my backyard.

Are these breathable covers any good? My main concern is sun damage.

I have no carport, last year I built an a-frame support that I placed on the top of my QS and covered the whole thing with a tarp. It worked, but it was very problematic as no matter how I secured it the wind would remove the tarp every now and again.

I wonder if leaving it outside without any cover is OK for long time. Or, maybe there is another way to secure the tarp to it.

Corners of the camper are also sharp and cut the tarp badly.

ended up ordering a couple from dexter directly, because this measuring magic is too unpredictable to guarantee the fit. $20 with the shipping, yes, expensive. But I realized that my original dust caps were not original it seems, so now I will upgrade

thanks, i did not realize this was so easy. Anyone knows what size this is? Dexter has a few for sale but I am not sure which one is the correct size....

Just the center part that cover the end of the axle. Where could I find a replacement? I am worried the dirt will get in there and contaminate the grease - in fact this has happened most likely already.
