We're towing our Bearcat 7x20 (which is pretty similar to the 7x20 Quicksilver VRV) with a 2014 F150 Supercab STX 4x4. Truck has the 5.0L V8 engine and 3.55 gearing with the electronic locking rear differential.  Actual payload from the yellow sticker on the drivers door is 1680 lbs, and it is rated to tow 7800 lbs, so the 7000 lb GVWR Bearcat is well within its capabilities (especially with just my wife and I in the truck).

This is an alarming trend, where new members are coming in and clearly have enough tow vehicle.

The foundations of my world are shifting underfoot.

We're new toyhaulers, but not new to towing, so I did my research before buying either the truck or the trailer.

Does CL make a toy hauler that would carry a side by side offroad vehicle?  I have a Can-Am Commander 1000 and I ran into problems that the toy haulers would require some diesel TV and I wasnt about to buy a new truck. Or the lighter toy hauler wouldnt fit my Can-Am's dimensions. The Can-Am stays at home :-(

Our Bearcat has 6'8" of interior width at the floor for the rearmost 10' of length, and about 6" less than that from about 18" off the floor and up for the tip-out bunk. We don't have the fold out dinette, but I'm guessing if you had that option you would lose another 6" of width on the opposite side from the bunk.

The Can-Am is 6'5" W   11'L      6' tall.    1500 lbs.

The interior length from the rear door to the refrigerator is 14' and the interior width over 8' (but I'd measure the clearance between the wheel wells to be sure - there isn't enough interior height to drive up and over them with a 6' tall vehicle).

With the side x side loaded, camping gear and the 8.5X22VRV  I might be exceeding my RAM1500 tow capacity which is what I found.  If and when I get another RAM  I may go to a 2500 model and a toy hauler.  But that will be a few years down the road.
