Weighing the trailer

Finally getting ready for a jaunt into Florida for three weeks. I was curious.....does anyone have a realistic method of weighing both the trailer AND the tongue weight? I considered taking it to our local county dump and asking the folks there if I could weigh it. Trouble is I would be tying up a very busy commercial enterprise and doubt if they would allow me to unhook the trailer and then hook up again. How do we accurately determine tongue weight? Bathroom scale is OUT.....

Our local recycling place did not mind our weighing  for our whole rig and then the car by itself. From there the math was simple. No charge.

Only thing that did not provide was tongue wait for which I did manage to obtain some scales.
