What is the roof of a Camplite finished with ? I had some packages dropped off by UPS and noted the ceiling roof panel allowed light. Thought it would be cool for a Camplite. When I have been using the backpack tent I have left the rainfly off and enjoyed the stars.

The problem with having any significant portion of the roof being transparent is the lack of insulation. Our bathroom is always the coldest spot in the trailer on cold days and the hottest on hot days because of the skylight.

Also, those roofs don't hold snow well.   My old company had some storage trailers with the same roof material and they nearly collapsed under 18 inches of wet snow.   We actually had the snow removed from the roof before we allowed someone to go inside.

But yeah, I'm not expecting these are walk-on strong roofs.
