Getting ready to buy a new VRV 28 FBD . Looked it over many times but like they say extra eyes always help. Any suggestion as to other thing that i should be looking at or comments would be appercialted . We love the look and lay out see a few  thing that bug me but they are easy enough to fix. Thanks Jeff

I looked at the Access toy haulers and discovered an item that may or may not be an issue for you.  The black water, fresh water and grey water tanks are all up front which meant that the tongue weight will be very heavy, too much for my TV.  If that is not a concern for you....enjoy.

I would assume the tanks are all in the front to counter the weight of a toy or two in the rear.

Jeff, I've always liked the toy haulers and when it comes time to upgrade thats the way I think I'm headed. I love the idea of having a couple ATVs and my camper all packed into one trailer. One of the down sides as I'm sure you noticed is, like many things in life, compromise is key. The VRVs arent perfect as a RV nor are they perfect as a toy hauler, but I think they have done a good job at giving the best of both worlds.

I'll go with you on compromise but in the overall pic it looks like a good choice. It will work nice for me and mama and the bike but we really look at putting the the toy hauling into use with the grandkids ,tricycles, bicycles, wagons, rafts and all other thing that seems to go along with them . Will beat the hell out of trying to pack it all in the back of the truck.
For Funpilot this unit is long enough that fresh water is behind the axles but thanks for the call, it does look like I might look into a lift for axles as another member said the fresh water does hang a bit below the axles, dont think I like that. But it all falls into the space of I think I,ve got a good start but nothing is prefect until you do,add or change a few things.Hope to pick it up this weekend Jeff

I have the Axxess 8.5 x 22 and the fresh water tank is actually between the tandem axles, only the grey and black tanks are forward mounted.

I would like to lift my trailer also to get the water tank at least level with the axle so it isn't lower and possibility of getting caught on something.  If you find a method of lifting, I'd be interested also.
