First outing of new rig. Stopped by BMS for a photo shot, on to the campground in the mountains.

Very pleased with my "rig".  Small, high quality over bling and huge size.  Easy to drive and park.  Gas mileage is good.  Power of RL is not huge but more than adequate for this lightweight CL.  We hope for many safe, blessed outings.  We are thankful for our blessings.

What is your mpg or liters/100 while towing?
Do you feel the Ridgeline running high rpm 3000+ going up hills?
While 18 wheelers passing you or on on coming traffic do you feel the push?

Welcome to 14 DBS club, lovin mine. Just spent 6 weeks on the road with mine trailer pulled great. Loved flying by huge motorhomes and 5th wheels going up mountains out west.

Got 3000 miles on the 14dbs, and 15-20 trips now.  I  was concerned about the rpms on the ridgeline, but on the ridgeline forum, all the members are basically unconcerned about this type rpms. It is built to take it.  We can come up some pretty long grades at 3500 rpm at about 45 to 50 mph and stay with or pass all the trucks.  As we are retired and not in a hurry, I generally just hit the 40 to 45 mph range and follow the rigs. It is rarely more than 7-10 miles up a big grade.  On the open road it runs at 70 mph in high gear and seems steady as a rock, no sway bars, no weight distribution hitch.  Big rigs do not bother us.

It is rated at 5000 lbs, and we probably never cross 3000 lbs, as we pack light.  I knew this going in and wanted the Honda reliability.

I get in the 11 to 12 mpg range.

In reality I would like to have a Ford F250, that would never come out of overdrive, but that would be overkill and probably unwarranted.  Hope this helps.
