Here are some answers:

1. My 16TBS was delivered with a 3-4' long tubular caddy mounted along the left side with a 6' hose inside. Works ok for dumpstations. If I were to ever hook up at an rv park I might need a longer one. I hope to never hook up at an rv park.

2. Any brand will do. I made up a fitting with 6" of 3/4" plastic hose and a male water hose fitting on one end so I could slip it on the non threaded water spouts at most state, NPT and NFS campgrounds to fill the tank, not for hook up.

3. A piece of indoor/outdoor carpet from Home Depot works fine.

4. Never hooked up but I do have a simple in line regulator on board if needed.

5. Unless you go to a third world rv park, surge protectors aren't needed.

9. Loosen the clamp on the mount, lift it and shake.

10. Trust. And there is nothing inside that could be hocked for your next fix ;-). Seriously I have never heard of an rv being disturbed at a state, nfs, or nps campground. Rv parks, maybe.

[/quote]Even if you go to third world parks they aren't needed, but surges and brownouts happen fairly often even here in the first world. RV surge protectors are basically insurance that protects your appliances from damage. I've had mine trip twice so far: once for a low voltage condition immediately following a power outage and a second time for a mis-wired pedestal.

1) I use the 20' rhinoflex kit with a 60" D&W super-tube.
2) I have a 50' 5/8" camco hose (the blue one). Why so long? Because we often hook up at friends houses where spigots aren't so conveniently placed. I also carry a small garden hose for non-drinking water tasks.

6) We have a Progressive Industries EMS-LCHW30

No idea... we use Walex products
9) I recommend no cover: there's always something under there waiting to bite me. Since our's is a dual tank setup, we measure in 50% increments when one tank runs out.
10) We use a Trimax UMAX100 on the coupler with a locking coupler pin (the same one we use while towing). Nothing additional to secure the contents of the trailer though.

Apex Never-Kink is good. 25' non-white for tank flushing.
