Season 2016 report

[p]Here in Quebec, the night are getting pretty cold so it is time for me to store the 10.0 in the garage for winter and to do a litte season 2016 report.

I had a bit more vacations than usual this year so it was a good time for us to travel.

We have 2 little girls, one 3 yrs old and a 9 months one. They are pretty good travelers. Teach them you they say!!

We started in April with a 18 days trip to Louisianna. We left Montreal, did a stop in Cleveland for the night, an other 1 nighter in Louisville Ky, 3 nights in Memphis than we headed for New Orleans. Stayed for a couple of nights in NOLA and left for Lafayette. After Lafayette, it was time to head back to Montreal. It was a really nice 5900mi trip. Weather was really nice, except the morning we were in Cleaveland. Our 10.0 was covered in snow!! I was really fun taking down the tent with all the inc & snow... LOL. Meet really nice people along this trip & had really good crawfish in Lafayette! It was out 3rd time in NOLA but the 1st in camping.

Mid-June with went for a 1 week trip to Boston. We didn't was to leave too far from home. We had a great time. Weather was superb! Ate a lot of seafood, drank good beer and made nice camp fire. This is what camping is all about. A really nice week.

For the first 2 weeks of August, we did a east cost trip. 4 Nignts in Virginia Beach, 5 nights in Myrtle Beach, 2 nights in Baltimore and 3 nights in Jersey City (2 subay stops from Manhattan). Weather was really hot on the coast. The A/C in the 10.0 worked really nicely. If the tent is in the shade, the A/C is able to keep the temperature pretty nicely. We were able to get good nights of sleep with the A/C. 

In all the season we have traveled about 9000miles & slept in the tent about 50 nights with all the other weekend trips. No to bad with 2 kids under 3 yrs old!

The most important thing, no problem at all with the 10.0! Everything worked well. I'm really happy with my 10.0 since the water leakage has been fixed by replacing the tent last year.
