6.0 couch gap eats my stuff

The gap on the left side of the 6.0 couch keeps eating my lip gloss (don't need it), fitbit charge dongle (oh, no!), and other small items. My hand can't fit down there and the items roll inder the edge.  

I plan to buy a gap cover to keep things from falling and hiding behind the inverter. I'll post a pic once I get this all done.

Does this happen to other 6.0 owners?
