Has any one ever used some type of insulation to block the sun from the skylight.  I was at Daisy State park in AR last week (98+) and the heat in my bathroom was terrible.

Camco makes several types, such as this insulated one. Looks like it would also be a relatively simple DIY.

I just bought a piece of 1 inch thick 2'x2' styrofoam insulation  at Home Depot and cut it to size to fit the hole. Works great and basically I leave it in place all the time until I take a shower. You are correct in that the heat build up is amazing without it. Works great and very cheap.

Any 20 minute job can be stretched
to a week with proper planning
