Our QS10.0 TV

Hi everyone!

Here's our TV, a 2014 Suzuki Grand Nomade (yes... here the Grand Vitara is called Grand Nomade.... the vitara name is only for the 3 door model). The car has a 4 cylinder 2.4L engine and I think 164 HP. It tows the 10.0 without breaking a sweat... is amazing how light the QS is! We've done about 250 miles last weekend and the fuel consumption almost remained the same as without towing (is that well said??)....almost 24 MPG. I'm very happy with that!!!

    ...even more fever considering here is summer time!... this weekend the temperatures are expected to reach the higher 90's.... at about 98-99 degrees... sadly I have to work this weekend... have a few flights here in Chile and to Uruguay.....

Yes!!!!... from the south hemisphere... and at the very southern part of it.... our country is almost at the edge of the planet... luckily we won't fall from it!!! LOL!!!!

Here in Chile, the camping infrastructure is not the best.... but there are a few places that are taking a few steps forward in this item and are improving their campgrounds to make them "RV friendly". There's one in the "near northern" part of our country, not far from the capital Santiago, in a small beach town that's called Pichidangui. This site is called BED AND WHEELS (www.bedandwheels.cl) and is the first one here in chile to have full hookup sites.... this campground is for RV's only... and the good thing for us is that is not further than a 3 hour drive from home.

There are a few other good campsites here... in mid-february we'll go and see how it's this one www.omz.cl ..... this one is about 4 hours from home in a small beach that's called Matanzas, in the central coastline of chile.... it has a fairly good RV infrastructure, but no full hookup sites... just electricity and water, no sewer connection.... the good thing about it is that it has private bathrooms for each site, so for us in the QS or for the people that's going tent camping is a very good thing.
Another one that has almost the same amenities than the last one is www.playa-blanca.cl, that is located north from santiago, at about 5 hours. 

Here's a list of some of the good camping sites here in chile... also there are some natural state parks that have camping sites, but in those, you're on your own... I mean, no electricity, no water or sewer connections and of course, public bathrooms.... If we are going to some of these state parks, I'll buy a privy tent, a porta-potty and a couple of solar showers to be comfy enough.
