Idaho Panhandle camping?

Anyone here familiar with the Idaho Panhandle? We are looking for a campground somewhere in or very close to the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. This is a trip to explore the forest roads via dual sport motorcycles, we have 3 couples going, and one of the couples do not have bathroom facilities in their trailer, so we are looking for somewhere that has at a minimum vault type toilets and hand pump water available.

Also needs to be close enough to the national forest that no freeway or major highways are required to get to dirt/gravel forest roads. A few miles of secondary roads is fine.

So any advice is much appreciated!

Having used pit toilets as well as nothing at all, I would vote for nothing at all. At last in the Number 2 category. Number 1 is far superior in the Wide Open Spaces, compared to any pit/vault toilet facility.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of pit toilets either, but I don't think the ladies are fans of trekking into the woods with a shovel...
