Chuck Box

I have a 6.0 and have gotten plenty of comments on my rig, another item people like, (campers with out kitchens), is this chuck box I purchased. So that being said,,,,what do others use for their chuck box? That's really nice. Where did you buy it? We use the dinette seat bins to put pots and pans but for utensils we use a small cooler. Having something like this it might be more organized

The company is called "Blue Sky Kitchen", it was a little pricey, but I think its worth it, you can save some money and by the kit, (you put it together yourself). Here's the link. I've had mine for about three years, its holding up nicely.

All of our cooking equipment (except the stove, of course) fits in the drawers. When the legs are collapsed, the unit fits perfectly into the gear box we carry on our rear deck. Just lift it out, extend the legs, put the stove on top, and the kitchen is ready.

Out of curiosity, how heavy is the box when full? I find myself constantly tweaking my kitchen setup. I'm in a 10.0 and luckily have plenty of storage cabinets, but it puts me in a weird grey area. The problem is we dont cook in the camper so using the inside storage gets cumbersome at best as I find myself constantly going in and out of the camper to get something I forgot while cooking. I'd like to find something like this idea but maybe break it down into smaller "cubes" that can then also be stored in the cabinets...

Yes, it is sturdy. We've had no problem at all cooking on it and easily accessing the "drawers" for supplies.

Nice looking chuck box, we use a zippered suitcase to transport our cookware and use a tackle box for the flatware. My dad made a chuck box similar to yours in the mid 60's when we had an Apache tent camper.

My folks bought an Apache pop up, I think it was in 1971, lots of fond memories.

The chuck box when loaded is about around 40 lbs, ( I think ). Its easy enough for one person to move it around, I have everything I need in it except the stove and the kitchen sink.
