When all the posts to this forum we saw in March, April and May have dried up. Everyone's out trying their new mods, tow rigs, exploring new campgrounds and just plain old love of camping-Life is Good :)

yep, but then I want to hear about all the excitement as people return to civilization :)

My husband and I are on our 2nd RV trip together. I am having trouble getting a signal so that I can log on and find out what everyone else is up to. We have no schedule, we are just roaming, although we do have plans to watch Dragon Boat races this weekend. Tomorrow, we are going to check out a COE campground on the Mississippi River called Fisherman's Corner. We might want to camp there next week - $9/night with our Senior Pass. Not bad!

So, I agree, if we're quiet, we're camping!
Located in Kentucky and Florida at present

So, I agree, if we're quiet, we're camping![/quote]Corps of Engineers camps are wonderful, and twice as wonderful with a senior pass. It's true at Forest Service camps as well. Many COE and USFS camps have electric sites. We have a very favorite spot in the tri-state corner of Wisconsin/Iowa/Illinois on the Mississippi called Grant River. All the sites are electric and most are fully paved. http://www.mvr.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/MississippiRiverProject/Recreation/GrantRiverRecreationArea.aspx
