Bella's little brother.

For those who attended the get together in SC last month y'all met Ms Bella.

She runs this old man ragged.  The French Bulldog breed are typically lap dogs. They are couch potatoes and love to just cuddle up and get belly scratches.
Well, Bella must have not received that memo.  She loves to run, chase cats and squirrels, rip stuffies to shreds.  She plain runs me to death.

   I have felt bad not being  (physically) able to play with her and I've always thought she should have a "buddy" to play with.    She is going on 7 years old and  a little brother or sister would be great fun.   We looked for the last 3-4 years without success, breeders, Frenchie rescues didnt come up with a playmate.

 I joined a few Facebook Frenchie sites and came up with one that helps rehome dogs.  We found a breeder in NC that had a 1 1/2 yer old male stud that was too big for the breed. (AKA <30 lbs) He wanted to rehome without papers and that was fine with us.  It was probably better to get a male as Bella is an Alpha Female. 

Three weeks ago we visited the breeder and Bella and Moonshine hit it off.   They play each other out all day log.  Moonshine is a Love Muffin.  A very docile, beautiful male Frenchie.  He is  a great addition to our camping family.

So here he is Mr Moonshine.

Oh yes, Mr. Moonshine is a fine dog. When I had male and female dogs at the same time, even though they were all neutered and spayed, the females were the ones who ran the show.

I have always had very intelligent dogs. My husband and I had to spell words like walk, ride in the car, go to the park,etc. The females always were the first ones to figure out the spelled words and rounded up everybody while my husband and I were still planning the day.

Bella is a smart girl. I hope you have a lot of fun with those Frenchies.
