As always, thanks for a great response! I didn't know about the dinette feature, and we purchased ours " off the lot" sight unseen, because I had read good things about LL, pre Thor. Amy wants a closet AND a w/d !! Started looking at Class A....not for me. Then, spent LOTS of time studying 5th wheelers. I could go on and on about that, but have determined that isn't for us either. Now, I'm considering an EverLite by Evergreen. They are a little longer, light, well made ( or so it seems ) and COULD possibly be modified to our needs.

We shall see. I finally got our 21RBS JUST THE WAY I WANT IT !!!!

or so it seemed..........

Charlie, why did you use the hardware you did for your drop leaf on your table and not a piano hinge so a separate leaf needs to be dealt with during travel?

Also I could have a wider (front to back of the table) leaf if I didn't have to worry about interference with the cushions if it was hinged. The dimensions of my new cushions are such that they extend slightly into the opening between the wood benches. The distance from the table to the seat cushions would limit the width of the hinged leaf. For travel I just toss it on the bed.

That said, good question. Glad someone is interested.
