We wish there was a firmer mattress available for our Quicksilver 6.0. We did line the base with interlocking foam mats and added a memory foam topper. Anyone have any suggestions or can an alternative mattress be purchased through the supplier? Space measures 58x75.

Sleep Number has mattresses for RVs. They are adjustable. Don't know if they make the size you need.

+1 for a Sleep Number or Aero Bed. I have a topper for both beds in my QS 10.0 and I find it does the trick without taking up to much space. In the 6.0 I would also be sure to avoid getting anything thicker than what you already have which is another reason I went with a removable topper for mine instead of replacing the factory mattresses.

We did as you did and put a foam mattress topper over the existing factory one. When we we travel we roll it up and secure it with straps and leave it is the center of the camper.  The lid and tent fold down on it without issue.  We now both sleep great in the camper.  Prior to adding the foam topper it was painful to get up in the morning for two 50 year olds.

We use an air mattress on the queen end of our 8.1. Sleeps just fine and stores under the bench seat when not in use along with a 12v pump.

We use a La-Z-Boy Slumber Air mattress. It's an option for their hide-a-bed couches. It's a four inch inner-spring mattress with a 4 inch air mattress on top, all inside what appears to be a standard 8 inch thick mattress shell. The quilted top opens with a zipper all the way around. A standard battery operated inflator will not work with the mattress, but it comes with an inflator the requires 110 volt A/C. You could run it on a 150 watt inverter. I also had to add a way to tie the deflated mattress to the bed base so it won't fall when the camper is closed. The mattress is a little heavy, but very comfortable. The mattress wasn't cheap, but we haven't regretted purchasing it.

We actually put a couple of ensolite camping pads under the mattress and you can notice the difference. As well, the added insulation makes it pretty comfy. Then again, I'm a backpacker so this is heaven compared to sleeping on the ground.

We use a waffle type foam mat and a thermarest pad, works great we usually sleep late.

I went to a custom foam place and had foam mattresses cut to size.  They are super-comfy!!  Then I sewed covers for them, including an overlapping edge to cover the freezing cold hinges in the morning!  Works amazing.  The mattreses that came iwth my 8.1 I took apart.  Inside was some nice stuffing.  I used that to top my son's horrible mattress at home.  The mattress covers that came with the 8.1 had some sort of stiff cardboard like feel to them, I couldn't find a reuse for them so they were chucked.

We use a single high queen air mattress that we used when tent camping. Don't even keep the old mattress in the trailer anymore.
