Been lurking and learning here for quite some time and figured it was time to say hello . I was raised as a tent camper then Airstream traveler with my parents , the wife and I have been tent camping up to this point . Really excited to start sleeping "off the ground " . We found Camp Lite trailers after reading posts online by exloringcarolina . [/p][p]

Congrats on your 16DB that's "on order"! We really enjoy our CampLite! Tent camped for years, too!!!!!
We love to hike, ride motorcycles, and camp in the NC foothills & mountains!

Congrats and welcome. I'm jealous; being in western NC you must have so many great places to go. I'm not too far away being here in Wake county but I'd still rather have those mountains right in my back yard

[/p][p][span]    [/span]Hey everyone , at last I have some news on our 16DB that was ordered back in November , LL started production of our unit before the Christmas holidays[/p][p]and after their two week shutdown/vacation we understand they were closed an extra two weeks. We ordered from Brett and Matt at Southland RV in Buford Ga. and [/p][p]they receiver the TT a couple of weeks ago . Brett let me know LL shipped our trailer with the wrong roof ac unit installed , and wanted to check to see if I still wanted [/p][p]the original unit we ordered. So they have now had the replacement unit sent and will be installing it next week. We drove down to see it and were told it came in with many upgrades that will be coming with the next model release. Including upgraded stove , heater , new fridge model , scissor jack stands, cabinet corner covers ,[/p][p]thicker matress , relocated stereo/dvd player and tv . so no complaints here about the wait. The trailer looks great and we can't wait to learn how to use it.[/p][p]   [/p][p]   Many thanks to all for your experience and helping advice ![/p][p]               Len  [/p][p]

Len, would love to see a pic of those cabinet corner covers when you get it.  LL offered to put the wood vinyl floor in our custom 14DBS for free last spring. We didn't want it, but it was a nice offer.

Thanks for the pic on the cabinet corner covers.  I have those too.  I was thinking they might have been covers that deal with the corner joints on the cabinet doors, which are treacherous. I've filed all mine down, but was curious to think that LL had found a solution.
