Has anyone else had a broken crank while hitching up, or oth

I was hitching up my Jeep to the Camplite where I had the Camplite stored, not a soul around. I was raising the hitch, turning the crank clockwise, so I could get it into position to put on the equalizer's bars. Well, it got to a point where it didn't want to crank any further. I wasn't going to put up with that, so I decided to put a little English into it. This was not one of my better ideas.

The crank came off in my hand. I put it in my Jeep and called Good Sam Road Assistance. Hours later, still talking to Zack at Good Sam, a couple of men came by, and fixed my hitch and attached the bars so I could tow my camper.

No Camplite dealers near Louisville, so I am going to work something out with another dealer and have it fixed under warranty.
