I have about 8 teeth missing in the door zipper at the bottom. Is there a way to repair this without taking the whole tent off or somewhere that does repairs like this.

I have a similar problem. I have several teeth missing at the bottom but the entire zipper has separated from the door also.  I am going to post a photo here and e mail a photo to a local canvas repair business. I am hoping it doesn't costs too much to get it fixed. I would imagine I need to take the entire canvas top off and bring it in for the repair. That won't be a big deal, but I'm not looking forward to getting it back on!

Well I took a better look at my zipper and it really looks as if my camper has "outgrown" her tent! I can't get the 2 sides close enough to zip them even if the zipper wasn't broken! I know the same thing happens to me when I outgrow my jeans!
I pushed and pulled and re arranged all I could but for some reason it just won't come together. I can unzip the other side and it will reach but then the other side won't pull together to zip up.
I was thinking I could just sew the one side shut and have just one zipper, but if I sew the one shut the other side with the zipper will be too tight and that zipper will eventually pull apart too (if I can even get it zipped at all!)
So I took some pictures and sent them to a local place to see if they can fix it. If they can, I am going to ask if they can move the snaps on the cover. When it is cold out there is no way that cover can stretch enough to snap all the way around.

I just found out that it will be about $130 to have some fabric and a new zipper added. Sounds like a fair price to me!
