Has anyone used velcro on door

The tent is loose on the door and I used velcro on both sides. If we are outside we use it on the front, inside we attach it to inside. Works great. I'm trying to help keep bugs out. They seem to come in no matter what. I noticed where the bed folds out on my 10.0 you can see the ground on both edges of the bed from inside. Got to tighten this up some way, maybe weather stripping? 
Has anyone tried to cover all openings on their unit. Also on the sides of my air cond there are openings on both sides. Going to see what I can do this weekend. I know it's part of camping but I give these critters enough blood, lol. Any input?

The bungee lines and  Velcro on my QS10 pretty much seal the bunk ends tight.   And we just zip the canvas at the door all the way each time.  We had problems with no-see-ums, but no so much with other bugs.

On my 8.1 where the bed hinges are you could see a little daylight for about an inch and a half or so. I took some U shaped weather stripping and mounted it to the bed edge.On the door I have also put Velcro between the tent door and the hard door.As far as my A/C I did some mods to the inner cabinet so the A/C is now stationary and does not slide.For the opening on either side of the A/C I took a cut to size A/C filter and used it the opening,that way bugs are blocked but the A/C can still get air thru the side.

Thanks Tim, that's what I meant about where the bed hinges are. There is an opining that needs to be sealed. I was going to use weather stripping on my air conditioner too. I will check out your pics now.

I was thinking velcro makes sense if there is going to be a lot of in/out movement, but I just dont see enough hassle to make it worth it. I'm not entirely sold on the idea yet but i think it has promise.

I was sitting outside and seen a fly go under the bottom of the door tent. That's when I decided to put the velcro there. I just put it at the bottom edge and it does not show on either side.
