Today I installed a backup camera system on my F150. I ordered these:

Monitor:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E08UZOO
Camera:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GMC8QXI

This turned out to be a really easy install. I tapped into the reverse light on the passenger side so the camera is only powered on in reverse. And I wired the camera up to a 12V outlet adapter that I had lying around in the garage, so the monitor can be put in the center console out of sight when not in use. I ran the video cable along the frame to the rear of the cab where there is a vent opening that comes out behind the rear seat back (had to remove the rear seat back to access it, which was the most time consuming part of the entire project, just figuring out how to remove it). Then hid the cable in the door jam trim and routed it up into the glove compartment. So to use it, just pull the cable out of the glove compartment, hook it to the camera, plug in the 12V plug, and then whenever you put the truck in reverse, the monitor shows a great view of the hitch.

Makes lining up to the hitch a breeze, without the need for anyone to direct you...

Also, the monitor has two video inputs, so at some point I may add a second license plate frame camera to the Bearcat for backing into campsites...

LOL... bought the EXACT same setup about 2 weeks ago!   The backup camera fits nicely is a spot down by my shifter.   I have that camera on my plate for backing/hitching up and another cheaper camera on the back of my CL for backing into campsites.
