Stability with partial tanks

As I was coming back from a trip to West Va recently I couldn't empty my black or graywater until an hour and a half into my journey, normally I have empty tanks when I drive.  I noticed that the trailer actually seemed more stable with my tanks partially filled than when empty.  I'm guessing I had about 4 gallons in the black and 10 in the gray. I don't have any WDH on the TV.  Does this make sense and has anyone else had a similar experience?

I've had the same experience not due to the black tank, but the fresh tank. It puts a little more weight on the tongue. I don't get sway, we do get a little porpoising when it's empty.
