Bikes on rear deck?

Hello - just got the 6.0 with rear deck. I would like to haul our bikes on rear deck - does anyone do this and can you tell me best way?

I have the same question.  I'm working on some ideas involving use, in part, of the fork clamps, which can be purchased at REI.  I just brought my 8.0 home, so my ideas are pretty undeveloped.  I hope that we can hear from folks with experience on this issue.

I know a few others have looked at bike rack options. It seems like the most popular choice when using the rear deck is to go for a rail system. A couple of these bolted to the rear deck would allow easy transport of the bikes:

That looks like it would work very well.  I'll look into that.  I've also looked into the Delta Secure Bike Transport, which is a front fork mount that would easily work right off of the rear deck.  I've used these with VW vans, and they are great.  It would also require a rail, though, for the rear tire.  It should work for up to 2 bikes.  I don't know how to place a photo of it here, so I'll just include the Amazon URL.  I'm new to the Quicksilver family, as I picked up my 2013, 8.0, on Saturday.  So far, so good.

Here is what Dana and I have done to transport our bikes on our Quicksilver 8.1 (posted by Subaruwx for us) - look for the pictures at the end of the posting.  Two bikes side by side.  On a 6.0 the rear deck is a little narrower - won't hurt to have the rack extend over the deck edge.  Went with this set up over the "front wheel off" idea because the handle bar on the inboard bike would hit the top of the trailer.  True, the handle bar could be turned 90 degrees to alleviate that issue - just decided that "front wheel on" would be easier in the long run.
