Medicine Cabinet Mod

Our 2016 21BHS came with a medicine cabinet over top the toilet. I believe this might be a new feature.  It's a simple addition and I think it's a good one.  I've decided to just keep another set of toiletries on the camper so we don't have to pack them when we head out.

Problem: After any driving, you open the cabinet and everything explodes out on the floor. And if you forget to close the toilet lid...well, you get the idea.

Solution:  I'm no engineering whiz like many of you so I came up with a simple solution using some bungie cords and a few drilled holes.  If anyone has some better suggestions, please make them...I'm by no means married to this current solution.

My wife was pretty successful with using industrial strength Velcro (believe she got it at Home Depot).  She ran strips of the stiff side either along the back of the shelf or the bottom of the shelf depending upon the the shelf and then stuck a small patch of the soft side onto the bottles/boxes/etc. stored in the cabinet - works like a charm.

We have been looking to get a medicine cabinet. Do you know the brand? did you add the cording across the cabinet to hold things in?

The Camplite is up at a storage garage so I don't have easy access to take a look. I'll check for brand next time I'm up there and take measurements.

Yes, the cords help keep everything from falling out...
