Hi All,
Just got back from our second camping trip. Sink problems now. I have to hook up the 7 gal container even though I do not use it. Some of the water runs from the container hose into the container. If I do no hook it up I have water all over the floor. After 3 days there is about 2 gal of water in there. Any suggestions?

Water leaks from the waste hose on to the floor, the hose that runs water out the bottom of camper.. No matter how much I tighten it, still leaks a few drops everytime I use it.

Under the sink I have to set a bowl to catch a few drops that is leaking from the huge pipe underneath. I wonder if I need to just replace this whole thing or just try to repair it all. Frustrating for sure.

Mine does not leak out of the line to the 7 gal tank if hooked up to city water. I would think its a bad check valve. Prob in the faucet. The drain on mine is a standard garden hose connection. I would check to see if there is a rubber gasket still in there.

Thanks Larry, I have to give LL a call.

They asked if I could have it hooked up to the wrong hose but that is kind of impossible as all 3 hoses can only go on one way. I hope it is not a big deal to change the faucet on this as I think they are going to send me a new one. I would like to do away with the 7 gal tank completely and the hose that goes to it as I will never use it.

You could always go to the hardware store and find a brass cap for the line to the 7 gal tank. I would keep the tank around! Lots of places have water, but no dump at sites. It makes a waste water container if you never use it as a water carrier.

I am just setting up my new, 8.1 and I'm having the same problem.  Water leaking from the fresh water container hose.  We are hooked up to city water and shouldn't even need that hose.  How did yours work out?

Here is my two cents. My faucet did the same thing. I'm pretty sure most if not all leak. It's just a bad designed faucet.

I capped off the blue jug line and use the faucet just for city water hook up. If I'm boon docking I just have a jug of water sitting by the sink.

I actually got mine set up now where I never have to unhook my hoses. They are always set for city water. It's nice having one less step and not worrying about leaks once set up.

I agree with kybrowns on this. The faucet is a poor design, and the check valves leak on basically everyone I've heard of. Capping the unused line is the simplest option but it will mean that water will collect in that portion of the line so you'll have to drain it after use.

I personally eliminated my sink and faucet all together and decided that if I needed water inside, I would just use a small tub that can then be taken outside and dumped as needed. We just found that we didnt use the sink enough and we would rather have the counter space.

If you decide to keep yours and it continues to leak, you can try to reach out to LivinLite directly, they may be able to issue a replacement under warranty.
