Hey,

Last yr my wife and I were looking for a micro trailer.  We mistakenly ordered a Little Guy teardrop and that was a disappointing piece of $hit.  Then purchased a Quicksilver 6.0 and LOVE IT!  Well built, cozy yet accommodating enough for us and a GSD.  Love the air condition.  Of course nothing to tow.  Only criticism is that it's not a cold weather (less than 5C) trailer.  We're from Canada and I race cross country bikes and fat bikes yr round.  I found the material becomes too rigid and I to resort back to tenting.  We've given some thought to an 11 FK but I still like the 6.0.

Welcome to the boards :)
Seems like you have a nice setup. I have to agree with the cold weather issue as I too have a good bit more trouble with setup in the colder temps. However I think thats just an expected reaction to the temps and to be honest I cant think of many places that I will need to camp during the winter. Guess thats an advantage of living further south.

I'm interested in your tent in the first picture. Is that a screen room or an actual tent? I cant tell from the picture. Either way it seems like its ready for some serious weather.

Hey Sean,

Sorry, I was referring to cold fall temps; we see freezing temps here in the fall.  I usually have to heat up the inside before snapping the material to the trailer.  It works until at least -5C anyway.

Yeah, we love the dining tent.  It's a Clam.  Company specializes in ice fishing shelters.  Honestly seconds to put up.  Easy and sturdy.
