Just curious about the question...do you mean does the sealant look right, or the water that appears to collect in the corner?

The aluminum has a flat section in stead of being rounded.  One of the pics shows a flat section. I tried to get different angles for the pics

[font size="3"]If you're referring to a slight wrinkle in the Al sheet, particularly where it joins the curved section, that's normal. As long as it's well sealed it's OK. It's almost impossible to get a perfect bend in a large sheet of thin AL. Also the water pooling and resultant stain in the corners is OK if properly sealed. What doesn't look normal is the white stuff around the vent, but then I live in Florida  8-)

Just wanted to make sure everything was good on the roof.  Been climbing all over the new camper between the snow storms checking everything out.  Also what type of sealant is used on the roof in case of future touch ups
thanks

Self leveling Dicor sealant works well.   It is available at your local RV dealer.   I haven't found it at HD or Lowes in my area.

I used self leveling dicor as well with great results.  Just make sure the sealant looks good where water pools. I had a small.area where the sealant did not overlap the corner trim and had a leak. The dicor fixed that. The unevenness of the roof near the front is normal, as already stated.

My Trailer has the same issue,  I think categorizing it as a slight wrinkle is an understatement, but that being said, I haven't had any issues with leaking, (so far) and I can see where getting a smooth transition from the curved roof to the straight edge is difficult, if not impossible.

I had a good laugh with one of the employees at a dealer I really like about how ugly that front seam is. It has to be, with the aluminum sheet having to bend 2 directions as it comes off a curve to fit the flat front. No biggie, just check it once a year with a tube of Dicor self-leveling goop available and it will be fine.

I wonder if they sell the stuff none of those mega tubes? 8^)
