Air Conditioner removal

Yes, the first time is the hardest. The have it glued down. Just go slow, maybe heat applied to top might help. I didn't use heat though.

First I got scared too, however if you play with it you can safely take it off.

Just curious, mine is a 2013. 2013 models they installed the AC wrong.

My ac is completely inside the camper, nothing sticks out. Because of this it can't breath from the sides and top. I fixed the situation by cutting the floor under the AC to let the air in. I use my ac a lot.

Mine slides out on two drawer slides. Simple enough system. Only two screws anchor it to the slides. I added some cut up pool noodles to help seal the gaps when the unit is deployed.  I'll post a couple of photos if you'd like.
