I have not determined the volume but when we purchased our camper new in 09 the first thing we did was remove the table, the bench's and the cushions. We use the area to store camping gear you just have to remember that you do not want gear to slide around and damage the tent and Bimini bars. I am in the process of doing some modifications to the camper and one of the items that I am thinking about is installing a divider to protect the tent and Bimini bars from the gear. The divider would be removed when setting up the camper.
