Tire upgrade?

My 13QBB has the standard tires on it which are 13 inch instead of the 14 on the offroad package. Has anyone upgraded the tires on a 13QBB/BHB? I would be interested in knowing if a 14 or 15 inch tire would work on the standard setup for better ground clearance on rough roads.

Thanks stewartnp for starting this thread. We too are researching this tire issue.  We have the stock Westlake Super ST 175/80R13.  They are a load range C, 1360lbs at 50psi, 6 ply.  We have not had problems with them.  We have approximately 3,500 miles on them. Just want to have as good a tire as we can get.  We are thinking of upgrading to a ST 175/80R13 load range D, 1610lbs at 65psi, 8 ply.  I have only found Kendra tire at these specs.  But I am still researching.  I want to find the best 13" tire.  I think we will stay with the 13".  From what I was told, spacers would have to be added to the 13QBB to accommodate the larger rims / tires.  This would also change the center of gravity of the unit.  Also, if you do change, make sure to get the right lug nut hole spacing.
If anyone has any suggestions, would appreciate thoughts on 13" as well as stewarnp's 14 or 15" questions.
